Berlin-based Lebenskleidung describes itself as a problem solver for sustainable fashion brands. Launched in 2009 as a wholesale company for sustainable certified fabrics, Lebenskleidung has developed into a well-known and highly respected partner for many ethical fashion brands in all parts of the world. The unique concept allows designers and fashion creators to purchase small amounts of certified sustainable fabrics to test and build their collections. When a product works well they can reorder bigger quantities and grow together with Lebenkleidung as a reliable partner.

As a fast-growing company the founders of Lebenskleidung experienced a strong increase in complexity as the number of tasks and processes was growing fast. To guarantee perfect certified quality for its clients, Lebenskleidung manages highly complex supply chains with producers in many parts of the world. In addition to this sophisticated work, the company needed more and resources to run the areas of E-Commerce and Digital Marketing. It seemed difficult to “go digital” and adapt their existing structure to a world that no longer has time to hang around and wait for them to get it right
During our Growth Workshop, we helped Lebenskleidung to funnel and prioritize which opportunities fit best with the company’s internal capabilities. During a one-day workshop with intensive preparation and follow-up, we started to discuss implementation priorities for goals and tasks during the coming year. An important focus in developing this strategy was the need to work in a timely and efficient manner and while guaranteeing smooth processes.
