KOMODO E-COMMERCE DEVELOPMENTIntro
How Komodo established monthly Growth Sprints to increase its E-Commerce turnover
In 2014 Komodos Founder Mark Bloom noticed that the old bespoke E-commerce System was outdated. Mark realized that they needed to find a better solution for his ethical fashion brand. Next to the technical issues there was another major challenge ahead. Direct B2C E-Commerce was gaining traction. Consumers wanted to shop online while expecting a perfect service and fast deliveries. For a small brand like Komodo it was not possible to build a big dedicated E-Commerce team. Together with Greenblut, Komodo decided to work on a long-term Strategy to ensure ongoing sustainable development and growth.

Komodo has created a perfect range of affordable, on-trend eco-fashion for 30 years. Like many independent brands, Komodos head of marketing has many hats to wear and E-commerce is just one of them. The challenge was to develop the E-Commerce without adding a big team of employees.
Solution
After a stagnation phase with the old bespoke shop system, Komodo decided to switch to the Shopify platform. After the redesign brought Komodo back on the growth track, Komodo and Greenblut now work with short, monthly Growth Sprints to ensure that the E-commerce is steadily adapting to the ongoing changes in the digital landscape.Additionally there is the goal to meet the growth goals without breaking the bank
